TNSC Reorganizes with Personnel Change for Transition to Holding Company

On September 3, Taiyo Nippon Sanso resolved a new organization and management personnel for transition to a holding company structure with effect from October 1, 2020.

Regarding the major management personnel of Nippon Sanso Holdings as announced on April 27, Ichihara will take office as Representative Director CEO-president, Toshihiko Hamada as Member of the Board and Executive Vice President. Kenji Nagata (President of Taiyo Nippon Sanso), Thomas Scott Kallman (Matheson Tri-Gas CEO) and Eduardo Gil Elejoste (Nippon Gases Chairman and President) of the leaders representing three poles of the world will take office as Members of the Boards.

With the addition of Kazuyuki Futamata, Member of the Board and Managing Executive Officer and Hidefumi Date, Director of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings (Part-time Director) and two other Part-time Directors, the board meeting members will consist of nine persons and four corporate auditors.
The four Executive Officers as also announced to public on April 27 will be Satoshi Wataru, Tsutomu Moroishi, Takeshi Miki and Alan David Draper.

The holding company will absorb the Asia/Oceania Management and Total-Electronics Strategy and helium-related business which existed in Taiyo Nippon Sanso’s Global Operations Division from the beginning. At the same time, the function of staff divisions like the audit, legal, internal control, human resource and public relation departments will be utilized commonly with the newly born Taiyo Nippon Sanso, so that the organization may be made as slim as possible.
