TNSC Controls Helium Delivery effective from April 1

Taiyo Nippon Sanso (TNSC) has been controlling the delivery of helium since April 1 under the influences of confused logistics and plant troubles.

The applicable helium products include gaseous helium in cylinders, curdles, loaders/trailers and liquid helium in Dewar flasks and other various mixture products containing helium.

According to TNSC, there occurred a confusion in the marine container transportation of the US under the influences of the Covid-19, and the company has been requesting customers to control delivery of helium products since late last year.

In addition to the confused transportation, plant troubles caused further tight-supply conditions from the beginning of the year. As for the new Russian source, no delivery schedule to the market can be anticipated on account of the equipment troubles which occurred two times and the Ukraine situation, and it forced a downward amendment of the annual procurement plan. Thus, the company has no other way but make further control of delivery.
