According to the Japan Robot Association, the delivery of welding robots for the first half of this year (January to June) progressed at a level of 24,888 units in 2022, which was an increase by 6.3% compared with the same term of the previous year.

In terms of the domestic and overseas demands individually, the domestic delivery amounted to 3,268 units up 12.7% and the foreign delivery to 21,620 units up 5.4%. Both domestic and overseas demands were on the course of recovery, which showed a better level than last year. However, comparing with the delivery result before the Covid-19 in 2019, the domestic delivery did not recover with a decrease by 32.5%.

On the other hand, however, the overseas delivery grew with an increase by 66.9% in 2022.
