Central Glass is going to start to produce a high-purity fluorine gas mixture locally in the Tainan Science Park (located in the Kaohsiung Multifunctional Park). 　　

To start the local production the company has picked out N2 + F2 from the high-purity fluorene gas by mixed dilution with other gases.

Regarding the said gas, the company was producing it only in the Ube Plant (Yamaguchi Prefecture) and supplying to Taiwan from the plant. However, to cope with the booming demand for the gas, the company decided to start a local production. This will make the company have two production bases in Japan and Taiwan to produce a fluorine gas mixture.

To realize the planned local production, the company established a local corporation named Taiwan Central Glass Company in March of this year for completion expected within 2024.

Central Glass established an R & D center of ERCT (Electronic Research Center Taiwan) in Cheng Kung University (Tainan City) in 2020 and has already been making local activities.

From now on, in co-ordination with the new company, Central Glass intends to enhance its relations with Taiwanese customers by reinforcing its local system for development and production.
