Iwatani America Acquires Aspen Air of USA

Iwatani Corporation of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Iwatani has acquired Aspen Air U.S., based in Billings, Montana which produces and distributes industrial gases.
 
Aspen Air established in 2006 is an industrial gas producer and distributor having an ASU in the premises of its headquarters in Billingsa. With the state of Montana as the main territory, Aspen Air sells air-separation gases by tank truck to hospitals and distributors as well as energy or chemical manufacturers. An estimated turnover will amount to US$10 million for the fiscal year of 2022.

Regarding the management system after the acquisition, Cappello will concurrently assume the position of CEO, and Tom Harrison, vice-president of Iwatani Corporation of America in charge of industrial gas business will assume the post of general manager to serve as top management.

In 2019, Iwatani Corporation of America acquired Advanced Specialty Gases of specialty gas distributor and opened hydrogen stations one after another in the State of California, which promoted step-by-step reinforcements of the gas business. The acquisition at this time has made Iwatani have the function to produce air separation gases in the US for the first time. Taking this opportunity Iwatani is planning to expand the business and enhance profit-earning power in the States.
