On March 30, Air Water additional acquired 31% shares issued by Dohmeyer of Belgian cryogenic refrigeration system manufacturer and made the company affiliated.

The company has been engaged in the refrigeration system business using liquid nitrogen and liquid carbon dioxide, and had achievements in the freezing gas application for the food industry. Air Water acquired 49% shares of the company in June 2019.

As part of the corporate strategy to reinforce the overseas gas engineering business, Air Water has made an additional acquisition of shares to affiliate the company at this time. Not limiting to the aforementioned freezing application for the food industry, the company is now developing and marketing cryogenic freezers for medical use in accordance with the increasing demand to refrigerate vaccines and new medicines in the medical and biological fields. In April of this year, the company newly established a plant for the identical demand in Poland.

Taking this opportunity of affiliation, Air Water wishes to expand the cryogenic-related equipment business in the US, Europe and Asia and to establish the cold-chain business in the medical and biological fields. In fact, Air Water is developing the business actively in the equipment engineering and gas-related equipment fields in the US and Europe in addition to the existing the industrial gas business in the North American area.
