Kobelco Eco-Solutions adds HHOG ALL-IN Plan to Water Electrolytic H2 Generator
In March of this year, Kobelco Eco-Solutions added to its product lineup a newly utility-packaged outdoor version water electrolysis hydrogen generator “HHOG All-in Plan” in the HHOG Series.
The HHOG All-in Plan having two types of 5 and 10Nm3/h is characteristic of an integrated style incorporating an nitorgen-enriching membrane which is necessary for purging of the unit in case of stopping of cooling water, compressing pressure for operation and consequent shutdown. The unification has facilitated to introduce equipment for the verification of the plants or buildings which have no utility.
In addition, in comparison with the conventional equipment, as the plan can deal with the whole system including utilities, it has turned out possible to save space and about 30% of power consumption out of the running cost as well as downsizing of working space at the site of installation and optimization of loaded equipment.
An accumulated total of more than 220 units of HHOG have been supplied for industrial process gases for semiconductor and heat-treating applications. These years, there have been more inquiries about HHOG as a supply source of hydrogen for energy such as attempts of carbon neutral (CN), hydrogen boiler or methanization. However, some companies studying to introduce CN have no utility. The problem of utility is one of the hurdles in addition to the introduction of system itself.
According to the company, utilities used to be supplied from the existing facilities for industrial use, but for the recent years there have been more inquiries from those who have not provided utilities like BCP or verification sites in buildings or facilities in the business offices.
The company takes a positive stance for active development with the integrated lineup at this time. Taking in sight a supply source for pure hydrogen fuel cells above all, the company intends to reinforce sales expansion to cope with energy demands.
