TNSC Completes Electronics Equipment Plant in Hsinchu, Taiwan

Taiyo Nippon Sanso built up a new plant in Hsinchu, Taiwan in the premises of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Engineering Taiwan (TNET) which is engaged in the production of equipment for the electronics industries. The amount of investment is not disclosed.

The whole output capacity of the gas purifier for the electronics industry, gas cabinet and waste treatment devices to remove vent has been doubled, and the company is examining the possibility to produce waste gas processor of combustible type for the future.

Regarding the background to construct the new plant there has been a predictive measure for the future semiconductor market of not only Taiwan but also other countries as well as measures concerning the aging old factories.

It is put into sight that all of the products manufactured in the plant will be supplied to East Asian countries including Japan as well as Taiwan. In the opening ceremony held on November 8, they invited major customers including TSMC, Micron, UMC and PSMC.

The new plant is four-storied. Including the office, the total floor space of TNET’s plant became 2.5 times more than before. The floor of gas purifying facilities has a height of about 9 meters to make an adequately efficient working space. Furthermore, on another floor they provided a clean room for production dedicated for such as gas cabinet.
