With effect from November 1, Iwatani started an LLC named Cosmo Iwatani Hydrogen Engineering to do the engineering business of hydrogen-related project with Cosmo Engineering which has experiences in the construction works for Hydro Edge. 　

The new company invested 60% by Cosmo Engineering and 40% by Iwatani is going to deal with the basic design and EPC of the project related to a large-scale hydrogen supply chain.

Iwatani introduces the projects which the new company plans and Cosmo Engineering will assist in the field of personnel, technological and infrastructure arrangements.

With regard to the construction work and the maintenance of hydrogen producing process for the steam reforming and methanol decomposition which Cosmo has so far been engaged, Cosmo Engineering will keep being in charge.

To proceed with the hydrogen-related projects, Iwatani has recently been reinforcing its close relations with Cosmo Energy HD.
In February 2023, Iwatani established an LLC named Iwatani Cosmo Hydrogen Station with Cosmo Oil Marketing aiming at collaboration in the hydrogen station business.
