Iwatani revealed that its Shiga Technical Center (STC) in Shiga Prefecture will be moved to Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, and reborn as a new comprehensive technical center.

STC has been a center for research and development for Iwatani concerning industrial gas and related technology. The new center will take over the research and development capability of STC and try to expand its function. Iwatani is considering about installing of hydrogen station on a premise of the new center. Construction will be started in April of this year. The total investment is amounted to around 3 billion yen.
