Koatsu Gas Kogyo will raise the prices of industrial gases with effect from the delivery in April. The range of increase will be between 5% and 30% or over.

The applicable items for revision and the range of increase are as follows; acetylene: 5% or higher; oxygen, nitrogen, argon and gas mixtures (excepting helium-related gases): 10% or higher; carbon dioxide, hydrogen, laser gas, specialty gas and helium-related gases: between 20 and 30% or higher.
　
The revision will be effective from the delivery on April 1 with the exception of specialty gas which will be effective from the receipt of order on April 1.
　
The reason of revision is that the logistics cost, personnel expenses and various material costs have been hiking in addition to the Increase of the procurement costs under the influences of the Longtime Working Hours Regulation effective from April. It is regarded to be beyond control and scope of self-absorption, which resulted in deciding the revision.
