Considering the necessity to accomplish simultaneously a stable supply to solve the current world-wide energy issue (Stability), deliver at affordable prices (Affordability) and realize transfer to decarbonization society (Sustainability), JERA has designated three categories of LNG, Renewable Energy and Hydrogen/Ammonia as its strategic business territories in a long-term business plan for the future.

In addition, JERA is going to divide the organization into three in a functional term to develop and optimize business with O & M (operation and maintenance) from now on so that it may form an independent group of specialists globally. The company is planning to assort the three business categories of LNG, Renewable Energy and Hydrogen/Ammonia in order to propose suitable solutions to meet the global and regional requirements.

However, as for the numerical goal of renewable energy and Hydrogen /Ammonia, JERA is going to proceed step by step based upon the prerequisites of policy. Therefore, in case of any significant change in policy, the company intends to review it.
