Taiyo Nippon Sanso has received an order for the MOCVD device “SR2000HT-RR” of own development for the first time from Lit Thinking of the U.S. who develops and sells sterilizers using deep ultraviolet light (UV-LED).

The device is a product developed mainly for the purpose to produce UV-LEDs and high electron mobility transistors (HEMT). Taiyo Nippon Sanso had no relation with Lit in any business including industrial gases, but they say that through Matheson of its American affiliate Lit made an enquiry to procure the Taiyo Nippon Sanso’s equipment.

TNSC comments, “We have abundant experiences including technological expertise in the sales of equipment for the applications to UV-LED, which are thought to have met the customer’s requirements at this time.”

Regarding the detail of delivery like how many units, nothing is known but the company is planning to take this opportunity to make more publicity campaigns about the device.
