Air Liquide Japan announced important personnel which became effective on September 1. Koji Makihara, former COO became new President and CEO. Ilyong Park, former Chairman and CEO assumed Chairman (concurrently CEO of East Asia Pacific).

New president Makihara joined Osaka Sanso Kogyo (currently Air Liquide Japan) in 1989. Then he assumed a General Manager of Strategy & Marketing, Large Industries in 2003. Then he temporary transferred to Air Liquide Brazil in 2010. In 2011, he assumed a General Manager for Industrial Operations of Electronics, and a Senior Executive Manager, General Manager for Electronics. After that, he assumed Senior Executive Manager, General Manager for Electronics in 2014, and Senior Executive Manager, General Manager for Electronics of Air Liquide Japan concurrently Vice President for North East Asia Pacific (NEAPac) Cluster Electronics of Air Liquide in 2018. After serving as a COO from 2019, he became the president and CEO of Air Liquide Japan.
