LINX Consulting held an event titled Electronic Specialty Gases & Systems Conference 2024 (ESGS2024) at Gila River Resorts, Chandler, Arizona for three days from October 22 to 24, 2024.

In the conference experts from the industry made 30 lectures in eight sessions regarding the semiconductor market and the latest trend of process developments.

Attempts and knowledge were shown off by the attending speakers on stage including semiconductor (Micron)-related manufacturers (AMAT, Edwards, Lam, Entegris, Rasirc, etc.), gas suppliers (Linde, Air Liquide, etc.) and chemical manufacturers (EMD, Solvay, etc.)

From industrial gas majors, Linde gave a lecture titled “Improving Efficiency and Reliability of Bulk Gases Production Using Self Learning AI Plant Control.” Air Liquide talked about “Sustainability for Low GWP and Low Emission Solutions for Advanced Nodes.”

Regarding helium, which has been in tight situation for long years, Phil Kornbluth gave a talk of “Helium Market Update.”

Throughout the conference there were lots of discussion regarding sustainability of the semiconductor industry referring to the specialty material gases above all, for instance “How will the industry take measures about the high GWP gases like the CF gases which are being used currently.”

From the visiting participants there were positive comments about the lectures sayin “Agenda is very comprehensive” or “Speakers are very knowledgeable and professional” and so on. The conference ended in success.
