With effect from October 1 DAIHEN established its new head office in Tokyo and has now a two-headquartered system with the existing Osaka head office. Removing the Tokyo Branch Office to a new location, the company upgraded it to Tokyo Head Office and is going to increase the number of staff-members so that sales activities in the metropolitan area can be reinforced.

The new Tokyo Head Office was established at Otemachi in Chiyoda, Tokyo after being removed from Toranomon where the old branch office was located. Functions of public relations and human resources will be newly established. The number of employees will be increased to 1.5 times more than that of old Tokyo Branch Office. The floor space has been nearly doubled having a seminar room capable to accommodate over 200 persons and also newly provided a permanently installed exhibition room to introduce new products. 　

The establishment of the dual headquartered system at this time Is based on the corporate policy to realize roughly three functional reinforcements. One is toughening of sales power in the metropolitan area, for which the reinforcement of public relations and the procurement of human resources should be required for functioning.

In addition to the reinforcement of sales activities to the headquarters of many major users in the metropolitan, it will contribute to strategic planning to establishing rules and standards at the new convenient location near the government offices and the headquarters of the major industrial associations in the area.

The new permanently-installed exhibition room is designed to be a show room where visitors can experience the features of DAIHEN’s boasting state-of-art products at such corners as the wireless EV charging system and the energy management corner to introduce EMS-loaded storage battery system as well as the corners to experience the factory automation to operate collaborative robots or picking in use of AI independent transfer robot. Furthermore, they provide the material processing corner exhibiting demonstrative device of wafer transfer robot as well as the high-frequency power system inside semiconductor producing equipment. There is also a corner to introduce a new product like “WELBEE THE SHORT ARC”.
