Elpida Shock spills out in industrial gas industry
Elpida Memory, the Japanese only one company for DRAM, has sought bankruptcy protection from creditors. The total debts came to around 448 billion yen. According to informed sources, Toyoko Kagaku, which has been supplying them with nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, and specialty gases, could hold bonds of exceeding 5 billion.
Industrial gas companies has been struggling to accounting receivable confirmation and gathering information regarding this since the morning of February 28.
