On April 5, an explosion incident occurred at OCI Materials’ NF3 plant in Yeongju, Korea. A worker lost his life and four workers were sustained minor and serious injuries.

OCI Materials, headquartered in Yeongju, Korea, is the world’s largest NF3 (nitrogen trifluoride) producer with an annual capacity 6,200 tons.
