AWI obtains ISO/IEC17025 at its Analysis Center in Sakai

On February 28 the Analysis Center of the Air Water R&D Center in Sakai obtained ISO/IEC17025 standard which is an international certification for test centers and calibration institutions.

That the center has obtained certification based on this standard as a test center the quality and analysis level of the gas products of Air Water can now be certified to have reached international standards.

The company has taken advantage of its wealth of experience regarding gas analysis it has acquired up to now, and without having to use outside consulting, has on its own obtained this certification. It has established its very own gas analysis method, and at the same time as compiled its method in a manual, it has improved the analysis environment and the technological skills of its employees. Along with these, the company improved the accuracy of the analyzing system and quality.

The scope of the certification covers practically all of the guarantees for its industrial gas products. Not based on the Japanese JIS official standard but rather on its very own analysis method Air Water can cope with a variety of gases.

The organization which granted this certification has certified about 300 companies in the US, Mexico, Italy, and Japan. It is a US private certification organization PJLA (Perry Johnson Laboratories Accreditation) which has a considerable track record worldwide.
