PERIC passes NF3 quality control inspection put out by ShowaDenko

The Purification Equipment Research Institute of CSIS (PERIC) is a subsidiary of the major Chinese shipbuilding group China Shipbuilding Industry and a producer of specialty gas. It has announced that recently is passed a quality control inspection for its own nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) put out by Showa Denko. This inspection was for production expansion program to 900 tons a year now underway.

The company was established in 1996 as a company engaged in chemical survey and production, development, design, and technology service. Currently it employs over 1,200 people.

For specialty gas, in addition to NF3, it also produces WF6 (tungsten hexafluoride) and CF3SO3H (Trifluoromethanesulfonic acid). Right now the company has an annual NF3 production capacity of 300 tons but as noted above plant to expand this to 900 tons.

The company will be expanding its specialty gas business, including NF3, overseas as well as in China itself.
