TNSC and Riken Keiki participated as exhibitors in SEA JAPAN 2012

The 10th international maritime exhibition “SEA JAPAN 2012″ was held for three days from April 18 to 20 at Tokyo Big Sight of Koto-ku, Tokyo. Industrial gas companies including Taiyo Nippon Sanso (TNSC) and Riken Keiki participated in the exhibition as exhibitors.

TNSC, in collaboration with Pro-Tech specializing in maritime engineering with fire extinguishing and measuring equipment, appealed its PSA nitrogen gas generator for high-value added ships like chemical or LPG tankers. Nitrogen for this maritime application is aimed to control quality as well as prevent an explosion of flammable liquid substances to be loaded on chemical or LPG tankers.

Riken Keiki exhibited its stationary and mobile gas detectors. The former included the hydrocarbon gas detector of fixed type for use on oil tankers, which have passed the prototypical examination conforming to the Directive on maritime equipment required by the Ship Equipment Inspection Society of Japan. As for the mobile gas detector, Riken exhibited its Pocketable Multigas Monitor “GX-2009″ which detects combined gases of HC, CH4, O2, H2S and CO, and a portable monitor named “GX-8000″ which has a feature to enable detection at a deep place by means of powerful suction with a high-flow pump. The exhibited mobile items also included another model “SC-8000″ which detects poisonous and special material gases.
