Chart Japan is going to establish “Chart Japan Service Center” in Aichi Prefecture in June, which is planned to function as the base of maintenance and logistics of home liquid oxygen supply system or nitrogen dewar and so on.
The heating facilities and vacuum pumps for vacuum regeneration were procured from its parent company in USA. The total investment amounted to 60 million yen. The site area is 1,860 sq. meter in which the building accounts for 825 sq. meter. The warehouse has a space of 660 sq. meter capable to store 30 large-type dewars. There are 40 parking lots for passenger cars, where you can also park in an ISO container of 40ft.
After the center is opened, seven employees will be stationed regularly to make delivery of “HELiOS” (liquid oxygen system for home use) landed at Nagoya Port and the MVE brand nitrogen dewars to domestic customers.
President Hayashi says, “We chose Aichi Prefecture as the center of logistics in Japan, located close to Nagoya Port which has excellent port facilities. This place Mikawa Anjo has quite a good access to the highways in both east and west directions. We want to make the most of the location for a further diffusion of our biomedical products.”
