TNSC reveals new plant of Vietnam Japan Gas in Phu My
Vietnam Japan Gas (VJG), a joint venture company of Taiyo Nippon Sanso and Tomoe Shokai in Vietnam, marked a completion of its new plant in Phu My, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province located in 129km from Ho Chi Minh City. The company held a ceremony to commemorate the completion of the new plant on May 16.
VJG established in 1996 as the first foreign industrial gas company in the south of Vietnam. In addition, the company founded the second office in Hanoi, located in the North of Viet0nam, at the end of 2007.
The new Phu My plant will be one of the largest industrial gas plants in Vietnam. From the new plant VJG will supply industrial gases such as oxygen and nitrogen to the adjacent Pomina Steel based on long term supply agreement, and also will supply these gases to China Steel Sumikin Vietnam Joint Stock Company through the pipeline.
VJG could expand liquid gas production capacity to 5,000 Nm3 per hour (LO, LIN) along with completion of the new plant and thereby VJG will be able to supply high quality gases stably for users in steel, chemical, and electronic component sectors in the south part of Vietnam in which rapid growth of industrial gas demand is expected in the future.
