It seems that the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake and high appreciation of the yen had a great impact. In addition, consumption of oxygen also reduced by 5.1% over the previous year. Production of electric furnace steel has exceeded the previous year for the second consecutive year. It seems to that there is increasing of demand for construction after the Earthquake and increasing of reinforcement work against earthquake.
