The company will also be taking advantage of the possibilities for market expansion accompanying the economic development of the newly emerging nations such as China, as well as India and the ASEAN nations. They have decided to expand their sales offices and agency network. This is part of their major policy which involves expansion of overseas business, and development in the security and fire prevention areas involving the development of their gas detector business. They will also be putting effort into the field of the new application of gas sensors.
While a candidate site has yet to be determined, the company will invest around 2 billion yen to construct a new gas sensor plant. It will update its core systems, and construct a training center. To do all of this the company will make an investment totaling 5 billion yen, including normal investment. The aim of all of this is to expand its sales base, and management setup in order to develop its business.
