Ube Industries announced that it will expand its liquid carbon dioxide production facility in Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture, aiming at commencing in the next summer. The annual production capacity will be increased from 30,000 tons to 80,000 tons.

Ube Industries produces liquid carbon dioxide at its ammonia plant in Ube using byproduct carbon dioxide gas as a source.
