Nagano Keiki doubles exhibition space in Semicon Taiwan September

Nagano Keiki is going to secure a two times larger booth-space than before to participate in “SEMICON TAIWAN 2012″ which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan for three days from September 5 to 7.

Nagano’s overseas business development attaches much weight on the Taiwanese market. For many years, in fact, the company has been shipping pressure-sensor applied products like transducers or pressure gauges to Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturers including the major players of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) and United Microelectronics (UMC), through the local agents and Japanese traders’ branch offices. TSMC above all has been evaluating and using Nagano’s products without any trouble in quality and delivery for more than 20 years, according to Overseas Sales Dept. of Sales Division.

Not only the US competitors who are enhancing their sales activities with the background of strong yen continuing from last year, but also other foreign enterprises including those in Germany and Korea in addition to the domestic competitors are competing aggressively. They said, “In case of particularly big jobs, all competitors participates causing an intensive price-cutting competition. We are also forced to suffer the influences of strong yen.” On the other hand, however, they also said, “In such a big job as to ship several thousand units of pressure-sensor products, we make efforts to attract customers making the most of our advantage in delivery and also offering our flexible delivery time.”
