Horiba Stec to build first Technology Center in Kyoto
“On April 15, to acquire a land in the industrial complex located at the core part of Northern Kyoto, Horiba Stec signed two agreements on the transfer of land and the basic accord in the presence of the Governor of Kyoto Prefecture in the Kyoto prefectural government office.
Aiming to accelerate the development of enhanced mass flow controllers to satisfy the cutting-edge semiconductor processes, Horiba Stec is going to start construction of a dedicated R&D base under the name of “Horiba Stec Kyoto Fukuchiyama Technology Center (tentatively named)” in this summer for a planned completion within the year. The acquired land has an area of 6,256 m2 and the total investment for the plan including facilities amounts to 1 billion yen.”
