Taiyo Nippon Sanso began marketing its turbo refrigerator using neon as a refrigerant for the first of this kind in the world. The refrigerator will be used with SMES (superconducting magnetic energy storage), superconducting monitor, and high temperature super conducting cable to cooling them to minus 200℃ or below.
