Iwatani exhibits dispensers for commercial H2 stations
In the FC EXPO, Iwatani Corporation the front-runner of hydrogen energy development will introduce its filling station-related equipment aimed at prior arrangements for infrastructure, so that Iwatani’s hydrogen supply technology to meet the coming age of commercialization may be appealed effectively. Practically, Iwatani will exhibit the actual equipment of hydrogen dispenser to be used in the Amagasaki Station which will open in coming spring. The exhibition is intended to emphasize the fact that the filling station for commercial use is really under construction.
The dispenser is capable for filling hydrogen under 70MPa, precooled at -40℃, responding to the filling protocol of the international standard. It is characteristic that the dispenser has adopted an explosion-proof touch panel to allow visible recognition of a variety of information like filling volume, temperature or pressure.
Iwatani also introduces with models some proposed variations of hydrogen station. Practically, three types of station will be exhibited for proposal, namely the large-volume type (2000Nm3/h) to meet FC buses, the basic type (300Nm3/h using Linde Ionic compressor and the simple type for 35MPa (50 to 100Nm3/h mobile).
As for the solar hydrogen station being demonstrated for proof domestically, Iwatani will exhibit a characteristic dispenser with unique appearance and an actual model of its high pressure water electrolysis system.
