Tokyo Gas Chemicals is now reinforcing its total utility business of water treatment diagnosis and consultation. Water treatments are indispensable for various facilities such as to treat industrial or business water, cooling water, RO (reverse osmotic filtration), cogeneration, boiler and draining for plants or buildings.
However, as conditions vary depending on the facilities, it is said that an efficient use is not necessarily attain in many cases. Particularly, the compositions of water treatment chemicals are not clarified, which makes it practically difficult to select a suitable chemical to meet the facility of the plant or building. Furthermore, in many cases, such chemicals are utilized wastefully without any comprehension of the optimum amount of use.
For this, therefore, Tokyo Gas Chemicals reviews from a professional and comprehensive viewpoint and started to deal with the total utility services, so that it can propose a best-mixed program of the optimum elements for water treatment. “We propose to our user the optimum water treatment program on a neutral standpoint or from a third party’s viewpoint in other word.” (Akiya Fujisawa, Managing Director)
After reviewing the across-the board water treatment (water, fuel and chemicals) of an existing semiconductor plant, it proved to be possible to reduce the cost by 15%.
