Taiyo Nippon Sanso reached an agreement with Global Gases, an industrial gas distributor based in Dubai, to supply four units of helium containers. One of these will be supplied to Global Gases by the end of December. This is the first record for Taiyo Nippon Sanso to close a contract for supplying its helium container to other company.

TNSC has been manufactured helium containers at its Keihin plant since 1991. The number of its helium container manufactured reached so far 44 units mainly for use them by its own or by its group affiliate Matheson. As a background for this success of contract, there is a demand increasing for sea transport for helium along with the commencement of HeliumⅡ in Qatar in this year. In addition, TNSC’s 20-year experience in the manufacturing containers and its technology were recognized by Global Gases.

Global Gases Group is a global industrial, medical, and specialty gas distributor. Their headquarters is located in Dubai, but its business is mainly off-shore one, and its helium containers are used for helium transportation in the US.

Regarding the technology for manufacturing helium containers, Taiyo Nippon Sanso has been forming a partnership with Cryo AB, a cryogenic equipment manufacture based in Sweden, an affiliate of Linde, for manufacturing technology for helium container. TNSC provide a technology license to Cryo AB.
