Osaka Gas developed hydrogen generator of 300Nm3/h type

“On October 28, Osaka Gas developed a hydrogen generator having a capacity of 300Nm3/h, and will start in December to sell the generator to hydrogen stations for fuel cell vehicles (FCV) and general industrial users through the group companies of Osaka Gas Engineering and Liquid Gas.

The Osaka Gas group has commercialized a hydrogen generator (100Nm3/h and 30Nm3/h) and actually experienced until now five on-site and other cases for industrial use of hydrogen including metal heat treatment.

Prior to the coming commercialization of FCV in 2015, a preceding maintenance of hydrogen infrastructure started. Considering that the station’s capacity to supply hydrogen is 300Nm3/h, the company has decided to sell the generator of 300Nm3/h which has already been developed previously.

In comparison with the conventional generators, the new type has improved the modifier and reinforced recovery of waste heat, and has attained the world-class level of 79% modifying effect by employing newly PSA of the vacuum reproduction system.

Added for option are the raw material compressor, deionizer, cooling tower and vacuum pump.”
