Sumitomo Seika got order for O2 PVSA from Russian metal manufacturer
Sumitomo Seika officially received an order for oxygen (O2) PVSA from a Russian non-ferrous metal manufacturer in the early part of this year. The order was placed for two units of PVSA having a generating capacity of 2500 m3 each. The customer will use oxygen to refine copper.
The main components and materials of PVSA like compressors, blowers, adsorbents, vacuum pumps and changeover valves will be exported from Japan. They will be assembled locally to make PVSA in use of the adsorption tank and product tanks made in Russia, and will be completed for delivery within this year.
For information Russia is the sixth largest copper producing country of the world. The company started marketing research several years ago and has been proceeding with its activities for this project since about a year and half ago. Sumitomo Seika is the first company to receive an order from Russia.
