Edwards highlights cost of ownership and environmental benefits of dry vacuum pumps at CPhI Show, Ch

Edwards is highlighting the benefits of their range of dry chemical vacuum pumps at CPhI China, an international pharmaceutical show held in Shanghai. The key advantage of dry pumps is that they do not use water or oil for sealing or lubrication of the vacuum stages. They have a lower environmental impact with no contamination of either the process stream or cooling water, and little or no effluent generation.

The CXS delivers exceptional vacuum performance in pharmaceutical processes, enabling users to benefit from a low cost of ownership and at the same time minimize their environmental impact. The energy-efficient CXS pump is simple to install and use, with high reliability. Chemical industries globally, including China, are attempting to reduce energy consumption and lower environmental impact. Edwards’ CXS pump has been designed to address these issues, using the latest cutting-edge technology.

Edwards EDP dry vacuum pumps offer a clean and robust pumping solution for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Using a unique, patented non-contacting reverse claw mechanism, EDP pumps create an oil free vacuum, preventing contamination of the process stream. These pumps are highly tolerant to liquids and particles in the gas stream and are capable of operating from atmosphere to ultimate pressure.

James Liu, Sales Manager, Chemical and Process, Edwards China commented, “We are delighted to be present again at CPhI this year to meet with and provide environmentally friendly solutions to chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In the last six months Edwards in China has received a significant number of orders from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries for dry technology; this success can be attributed to our ability to provide a complete solution to our customers? vacuum process needs.”
