Now available all together are the financial results of the top-seven listed industrial gas companies for the first quarter of fiscal 2014.

The total sales of the seven companies amounted to 508.251 billion yen with an increase by 5.3% compared with the same term of last year, crossing the mark of 500 billion yen. Comparing with the results of the last six years, we see a trend of consecutive increase for the years after 2010. It means that all of the industrial gas companies have done constantly good business contributing to the sales increase. Their ordinary profit amounted to 20.642 billion yen up by 1.1% and the net income for the quarter term came up to 12.852 billion yen up by 9.6%, each of which marked an increase compared with the same term of last year.
