Iwatani opens its second H2 station for filling FCV

On October 22, Iwatani opened its second commercialized hydrogen station in Japan for filling FCV. The new station installed at the LP gas station operated by Iwatani group at the city of Kokura, Fukuoka Prefecture.

The pressure capacity is 70 MPa, and filling capacity is 340 Nm3/h, which can filling 6 vehicles par hour. It takes only 3 minutes or shorter for fully filling a vehicle. Regarding compressor, which is the main component, Linde’s ionic compressor “IC-90” was employed as same as the first hydrogen station installed at Amagasaki.
