Taiyo Gases (headquartered in Bangkok) of Thailand concluded a sales agency agreement for distribution of the atmosphere temperature type vaporizer for LPG, “Eco Rizer,” as an exclusive sales agent in Thailand manufactured by Watari Manufacturing Gas Service (headquartered in Bangkok) which is the Thai affiliate of Watari (headquartered in Yokohama, Japan). The sales activity started from July.

This eco product takes place of the conventional vaporizer of electric type which has been used for years in Thailand, and is characteristic in its cost effectiveness, durability and safety. Comparing with the warm-water type vaporizer, it is an environmentally excellent product which does not emit carbon dioxide and enables gas supply at the time of electric outage.

The aluminum-made body assures a useful life of over 20 years and excels in durability for outdoors use with its anti-corrosive property, which can make early recovery of the initial cost. No electricity is required for heat exchanging. As no water is used and there are only few spare parts are required, it is so easy to maintain that you are assured of high cost-effectiveness saving the running cost substantially. Furthermore, a variety of safety mechanisms are employed such as Japan-made emergency shutoff valves of interlocking type and devices to detect pressure, overflow, temperature and gas leakage. After alarms are released, supply of gas recovers automatically.

The product has 4 types, with respective generation capacities of 150, 300, 450 and 600 kg per hour (based on the LPG composition in Thailand of 60% butane and 40% propane). The liquid-gas section of vaporizer body has a two-line structure which enables effective switching. When you use it, you can attain the generation capacity by means of removing the ice adhered to the fin, resulting in a stable supply.

Taiyo Gases appeals saying, “As the product is based on the atmospheric heat exchange specifications, it is well-suited to the high temperature climate of Thailand throughout the year. The selling price also is set at a reasonable level which enables a cost recovery of 2 – 3 years for user’s initial investment. Since the user can avoid damages by the recent hike of power cost, it is quite an Eco Product responding to the high demand in the region and age.”

Watari Manufacturing Gas Service of the local affiliate was incorporated in Thailand on April 29, 2015 as a group company of Watari. The operation will start in August. The company will be involved in manufacturing of the atmosphere temperature type vaporizer, sell of industrial and specialty gases and gas related equipment, and design, installation and manufacturing of gas supply facilities and utility facilities.
