On July 10, Saisan acquired 95% of the shares of the Indonesian LPG filling company Graha Metropolitan Permata (GMP) and began an LPG filling business there.

As part of the current business acquisition, this autumn the company name of GMP will be changed to Gas One Indonesia. Gas One Indonesia will not only be engaged in the filling business, but also expanding into the wholesale business of LPG for home use and the marketing of LPG for industrial use, aiming at establishing the Gas One brand name. Regarding the current business acquisition and the development of business from now on, it plans to move ahead with the local LPG distributor as its business partner, while obtaining the assistance of powerful other local distributors.

This current expansion overseas is the 5th one. As a spokesperson from Saisan put it, “Heading toward 2045 which will mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the company, we’ll be moving full speed ahead toward attaining our vision of becoming a leading company in the comprehensive energy business in Asia and the Pacific Region as well as in business related to daily life.”
