AW to operate 2 liquid plants with Fukuoka Oxygen in Nagasaki and Fukuoka this year end

Air Water (Chairman: Masahiro Toyoda) is implementing its investment to two liquid plants jointly with Fukuoka Oxygen (President: Harutoshi Fujiuchi) in the western region of Kyushu.

One plant having a small-type liquid producing VSU (600Nm3/h of LO and 1400Nm3/h of LN) will be established in Nagasaki Ekisan (51% owned by AWI, 19% by Kyushu AW and 30% by Fukuoka Oxygen) which is a joint venture of the two companies located in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture). The investment amounts to about 1.4 billion yen and the start of operation is planned to be in July 2016.

The other plant will be established in Kyushu Kogyo Gas located in Omuta City Fukuoka Prefecture, where a liquid/gas co-current producing VSUA (GO+GN 4800Nm3/h, LO+LN 2250Nm3/h and Argon 124Nm3/h will be newly installed after reviewing an appropriate output to meet the regional demand for liquid gas. The investment amounts to about 2.2 billion yen and the plant is planned to start in late December 2016. Taking the opportunity of renewal to the new plant, the ratio of investment has been changed into 60% by Air Water, 25% by Fukuoka Oxygen, 10% by Mitsui Chemicals and 5% by TNSC.
