Osaka Gas Liquid Co., Ltd．（President: Kenichi Kawamoto）began a full-scales sales for helium purifiers. In anticipation of the upcoming alternative demand mainly of carrier gases for analytical equipment and also helium gas cylinders for research institutes, the company has been carrying out active sales and has now a number of inquiries from research institutes for the purifier which is priced supposedly at three million yen each.

The helium purifier with the maximum flow-rate of 10N L/min is a device to remove nitrogen or methane which may make impurities in helium gas. The device can produce a high-purity helium of 6N from the ordinary industrial helium of 4N.

The purifier was first developed internally for gas chromatography of own, but with increased inquiries for research purposes, the sales activities came to start after the trial use in the plant annexed to the Head Office. The purifier business of the company has so far been engaged in the sales of inline-type ultra-fine gas purifier “Fine Purer” or the auto-renewal type ultra-fine gas purifier “High Purer”, and it is the first attempt for the company this time to sell the purifier of helium gas alone.
