Air Water to open Nagoya Welding Center as R& Dbase for welding business 

Air Water (Chairman: Masahiro Toyoda) will open Nagoya Welding Center as its R&D base for the welding business in January 2017. It is aimed to explore realization of combining the optimum welding machine, welding material and shielding gas in order to satisfy user’s needs.

Air Water will build up a laboratory wing of 300m2 in the head office of Chubu Air Water at Oneyama, Nagoya Midori-ku, Aichi Prefecture. This R&D facility for welding related research is the second one following the one in Wakayama, and it is intended to make the most of the development of new products and technologies in the Nagoya District which is the very home territory of production of automobiles and airplanes in our country.
