According to SEMI, it is forecasted that the world market of semiconductor manufacturing equipment in 2018 will mark a sales of US$62.73 billion which is an increase by 10.7% compared with 2017.
As the market scale has been increasing for three consecutive years from 2015, and it is expected that 2019 likewise will mark US$67.58 billion with up 7.7% over 2018.

Regionally, the largest market in 2018 is Korea keeping a flat pace marking US$17.9 billion, and it seems to be followed by China with an increase of 43% and Taiwan with a decrease of 7.2%.

With view to the type of machine, the wafer processing device shows an increase by 11.7%, the other preceding processes marking an increase by 12.3% and the assembling and packaging machines an increase by 8% compared with the previous year.
