TNSC signed an agreement with IMI for the transfer of its shares. The acquisition will be implemented on October 1, 2018.
　
IMI, having 248 employees, is a trading firm of medical equipment provided with service centers at 20 locations all over Japan. It is a large-scaled distributor selling about six billion yen annually handling mainly foreign-made respiration-related equipment, body temperature management devices and bio-information monitors.

The agreement was concluded after the negotiation with the existing shareholders of the company and resulted in the full affiliation of the company after acquiring 100% of its shares.

With this acquisition TNSC intends to expand its business in the respiration-related field, making the best use of IMI’s merchandize developing power and utilizing TNSC’s sales network. Particularly as the business territory is close to that of Pacific Medico (artificial respirator manufacturer of the TNSC group), it is expected that there will be a synergy effect between both companies.
