Three Merged Companies Incorporate FUJIKIN VIETNAM

On October 1, Fujikin consolidated their Thang Long Plant of production base in Hanoi, Bac Ninh Plant in Bac Ninh Province and Vina WorldLink (VWL) which is a specialized manufacturer of valves and fittings, and established Fujikin Vietnam. With this consolidation, Fujikin integrates the production of ultra-high precision valves and fittings for semiconductor (Than Long Plant), the production of valves and fittings for electricity, oil, high-pressure gas and pharmaceuticals (Bac Ninh Plant) and the distribution of these products (VWL), so that the business activities may expand to Southeast Asia and the Western countries as well as to Japan and Vietnam.

The capital of the new company whose head office is located in Thang Long Plant is US$9 million and the delivery amounted to about US$90 million actually in 2016.
According to President Yoshida in our local interview on December 3, 2018, Fujikin advanced to Thang Long in Vietnam in 2002, founded VWL in 2011 and built up Bac Ninh Plant in 2012. The base development progressed for expansion at a steady pace.

The number of employees has been increased to a level of 1,000 including the staff of production, service and sales. Since the output capacity of Thang Long Plant to manufacture valves and fittings is as large as that of Fujikin Japan’s Tsukuba, Kashiwara or Higashi Osaka plants now, it is positioned as the main production base of Vietnam.

In addition, the Bac Ninh Plant is capable to meet requirements for pre-fabricated piping, unit assembling, valve and fitting, welding, buff polishing or electrolytic polishing. VWL having offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh has been deemed as a trader to deal with valves and fittings to construct petroleum, natural gas or various plants. Other than these items, Fujikin Vietnam is also importing and distributing Fujikin’s products related to life science like the remote-control medical software, general X-ray photography and the portable supersonic wave system which was developed by Fujikin.

Vietnam’s population is about 93.7 million and its GDP is US$223.5 billion. The average age is so low of 30 years that the country is attractive with highly prospective growth. Fujikin started at the most earliest stage in Vietnam as a Japanese company and also has obtained trust as a precision valve and fitting manufacturer through its practical results.
