NGK Spark Plug has realized to acquire an O2 concentrator manufacturer of the American Chart Group. On December 28, NGK completed the scheduled acquisition of all shares of US Caire, UK Chart BioMedical and Chinese Chart BioMedical (Chengdu), each of which has been fully affiliated now.

Accordingly, Chart Japan of US Chart’s subsidiary which had been handling “HELIOS” of LO2 system for O2 concentrator and the patients of “COPD” restarted on the same day under the name of MVE Cryo System Japan so that the operating resources can be focused on the LIN container business.

The distribution of the O2 concentrator and HLIOS made by Caire in Japan will be succeeded by Caire Medical Japan fully owned by NGK which was established on February 1, 2019. Its head office will be located in Chart Japan Service Center (Anjo, Aichi Prefecture).
