According to Saisan, the consumption of LP gas in Laos stayed at about 20,000 t as of 2017, but Saisan anticipates that the demand will expand from now on, and is now engaged in the promotion to diffuse LP gas being involved in the formulation of LP gas safety standards in cooperation with the Laotian Science and Technology Reference Bureau.
Gas One Lao is invested 60% by Saisan and 40% by AMZ, and is headquartered tentatively in AMZ’s office located at Sisattanak Area of the capital city Vientiane.
From July Saisan started to sell LP gas by cylinder for business use and household consumption in Vientiane, and is planning to build a LP gas filling station from 2020 on the site adjacent to the first Laotian refinery to be constructed inside the Saysettha Industrial Park Zone, in order to sell LP gas to various plants.
