Taiyo Nippon Sanso will construct a new nitrogen plant on the premises of the headquarters plant of its subsidiary Leeden NOX (LNOX) in Singapore. The new plant will go into operation in March, 2021. Investment amount is not revealed.

The new plant will dedicate to production of gaseous nitrogen to supply onsite it to users of industrial complex where the LNOX locates such as petrochemical, electronics, and bio-pharmaceuticals.

The company has already had two ASUs, of which one produces liquid gas while another produces gaseous and liquid gases. The new nitrogen plant will treble the gaseous nitrogen production capacity.
According to Taiyo Nippon Sanso, the demand for nitrogen is expected to expand in electronics, medical and chemical areas in Singapore in near future.

Taiyo Nippon Sanso will catch up this trend and expand and strengthen its business foundation in Singapore.
