ALJ Opens H2 Station in Kitanagoya City

On April 24, Air Liquide Japan opened a new H2 station in Kita Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.

The station was based on the subsidized program on the H2 Supply Business for FC Vehicles 2019 by the Next Generation Vehicle Promotion Center and also Aichi Prefectural subsidy to develop H2 stations. This project is collaborated by Japan H2 Mobility (JHyM), and it is the fourth station to operate jointly with JHym.

The filling equipment has an H2 supply capacity of more than 300Nm3/h in case of off-site, and employs a packaged filling system combining the air compressor and accumulator.

ALJ told that it developed the station choosing a convenient location close to Ichinomiya Nishiharu Interchange of Route 22 and Nagoya Highway foreseeing future H2 filling for commercial vehicles like FC buses, FC trucks or taxies. In the meantime, ALJ has a plan to build three more new H2 stations in Aichi Prefecture in this year.
