JHyM Fixes 2020 Development Plan of H2 Station

On May 28, Japan H2 Mobility (called JHyM) announced that it had submitted a joint application with H2 station companies and got adopted the 20 cases as the first round of the subsidized project for FCV, H2 supply facilities and the development of H2 stations.

With this adoption the basic number of H2 station developed by JHyM will become 55 units. Combined with the units already adopted, the number will make a total of 143 units across the country, and 157 locations counting the multiple operation in use of mobile H2 stations. As of May 28, 116 stations at 130 locations are in operation.

The location of the stations at this time is characteristic in that Aichi Prefecture the largest users of FCV will have more stations and four prefectures of Nagano, Fukui, Nara and Kumamoto will have H2 stations for the first time, now leaving 12 undeveloped prefectures.

Furthermore, with Toagosei who has newly participated as an infrastructure company in the JHyM team, a stationary type of H2 station is planned to be installed for the first time in Tokushima Prefecture. The participants of the JHyM which started with 11 companies has now turned out to be 25 with the addition of the new participant.
